Born in Santa Barbara and raised in Ventura California.  Brock Maudlin is no stranger to beautiful weather, picturesque beaches, endless mountain ranges, and plenty of urban landscapes.  As a child always thinking in pictures, creating in any form or fashion that he could, Brock needed a place to harness this visual burden.  After studying fine art photography at Ventura College, and only living thirty minutes away from the Brooks Institute of Photography, it was only fitting that he attended.

There he learned more about himself as a creator and his visual interests, than he did of f/stops and lighting patterns.  Also he discovered a new passion for the digital world, both in photography and in designing.  He soon realized that he loved postproduction on the computer as much as he loves shooting.  After receiving his B.A. in photography, Brock is excited to be a part of the team that is LOOK Photography.  He is also ready to continue learning from his peers, his competition, and himself alike.  He still experiments and creates in a new way all the time; whether it's graphic design, web development, photography or drawing.
